  • We will assist you in gaining your Intermediate Gymnastics Coach Accreditation
  • Based out of St Ives

We are currently looking for Beginner coaches to come and join the team at St Ives. We will lead you in the right direction in becoming a Gymnastics Instructor.   

About the role:

Working alongside qualified Gymnastics Instructor, you will be an essential component in the delivery of YMCA Gymnastics programs and services. Beginner Coaches are required to maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of YMCA gymnastic programs, educational trends and industry development. The position requires an energetic, motivated person who is not afraid to use his or her own ideas and initiative within their class environment. You will work alongside the gymnastic instructors until you get your full qualification. 

Must be keen to learn and develop and must be fun and to keep children's wellbeing in mind.

You will come with:

  • Current First Aid
  • A Minimum Beginners coaching accreditation
  • Coach Affiliation/Technical Membership
  • Experience working with groups of children from various ages

Recreation

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
