The Company

Our client, based in Heidelberg West, is looking for a production operator to grow within their team and expand on their existing skills.  They supply a diverse range of interior acoustic products to markets all over the world, featuring walls and ceilings to customised screens.  With their focus being on sustainability, they manufacture using fibers made from recycled materials
 
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Strapping pallets
  • Assisting to run a production line
  • Quality control
  • Manual handling
  • Loading/unloading materials
  • May be required to use machinery and basic hand and power tools
  • Processing orders
  • Pick Packing

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude
  • Machine operating experience
  • Be physically fit for repetitive lifting
  • A great eye for detail and high level of problem-solving
  • The ability to adhere to strict OH&S guidelines and procedures
  • Production line experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work closely within a team and across various departments
  • The flexibility to work across day and afternoon shifts - essential
  • Willingness to learn and adapt 
  • Commitment, reliability and hold a positive attitude

Hours & Pay Rate:
 
Day shift hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am till 4pm, Friday O/T as required
Rate: $31.09 - $35.09 per hour depending on skills and experience
