The Research and Outreach Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our investment firm by conducting industry research, identifying key business contacts, and consolidating information. The role involves significant online research and occasional outbound sales calls to gather necessary details.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive research to identify businesses and key contacts, including owners and directors.
  • Data Consolidation: Compile and organize research findings into a centralized location for easy access and reference.
  • Outbound Calls: Make occasional sales calls to businesses to gather additional information such as emails and phone numbers of the small business owners.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update records in HubSpot, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on research findings and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in administrative support and lead research.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM.
  • Experience in outbound sales calls and gathering business contact information.
  • Familiarity with lead scrapers, online research tools and databases like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Companies or Business Registry.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High level of organization and ability to consolidate information efficiently.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
