About your role:

Are you looking for student placement in the booming disability sector? Gain valuable real life experience and skills to kick-start a career in the fast-growing and highly rewarding sector. As a student, you will be buddied up with a disability support worker in community access activities in our Roma Service.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside our disability support worker in supporting our customers in a variety of social experiences such as sport, arts and craft and special activities to include trivia, discos, cooking, singing and day trips.

Community access offers an exciting learning experience for students. This social and inclusive environment provides our customers the opportunity for learning, friendship, growth and fun

About you

• Currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support or similar
• Ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team
• Social, friendly and easy going - great people skills are a must
• Compassionate nature

You will have the following to qualify for this role

• Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children)
• A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
• Aged 18 years and over
• Open Drivers Licence (or on Green P Plates)
