The Wesfarmers Health includes 73 company-owned Priceline stores, 396 Priceline pharmacy franchise stores and 89 Clear Skincare clinics and is also a wholesale distributor of pharmaceutical goods. In 2023, the Health division expanded its digital and medical aesthetics offering with the acquisitions of telehealth provider InstantScripts, as well as the SILK Group, who operates a network of around 140 wholly-owned, joint venture and franchised clinics.  The division employs more than 3600 team members. 

What you’ll do:  

The Retail Merchandise and Marketing Finance Business Partner is a commercially-minded and proactive professional, adept at identifying and driving business opportunities in a rapidly growing environment. They offer strategic advice to leadership teams, develop robust assumptions for business cases, and present actionable plans to achieve financial targets. With expertise in managing the P&L, they have a clear understanding of risks and opportunities.

  • Provide expertise in managing the P&L with a deep understanding of risks and opportunities
  • Develop robust assumptions for business cases and actionable plans to achieve financial targets
  • Support senior leadership teams with commercial and strategic advice
  • Possess strong financial understanding of trade performance, levers for store channel growth, and store profitability
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Possess excellent communication skills to provide timely and accurate insights for informed decision-making

What you’ll bring: 

  • Minimum 5 years' business partnering experience.
  • Advantageous experience in FMCG, Retail, or Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Strong commercial focus, adept at distilling data for actionable reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complexity.
  • Proven skill in developing effective partnerships and operating in a lean environment.
  • Extensive experience in management accounting, performance management, reporting, and financial evaluation of projects, complemented by advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems & BI tools (SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy, PowerBI).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • CPA/CA qualification
