About the Team
National Delivery is responsible for engaging with participants and managing participant plans and supports. State/Territory-based business units manage the operating functions, ensuring accessible, nationally-consistent participant experiences.

About the Role
The APS3 Participant Support Officer is a team membership position responsible for setting priorities, managing workflow, and producing work subject to regular monitoring by senior positions within the management structure.
You will undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support, and operational tasks, including basic research and analysis activities. The position involves public contact, requiring you to communicate and provide straightforward advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage and resolve participant matters by actioning planning tasks as per relevant legislation.
  • Provide counter/reception support for the local office, including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online support.
  • Resolve customer enquiries, provide information, and/or refer customers to appropriate government or community services.
  • Manage the team shared email inbox, appointments, and telephone enquiries.
  • Coordinate appointments using office facilities and ensure facilities are accessible for participants.
  • Undertake research and investigation activities, preparing associated reports and correspondence.
  • Perform a range of data entry activities and ensure follow-up is completed.
  • Receive and record complaints and other feedback in business systems.

About you
To thrive in this role, you need:

  • Preferred experience in providing strong admin support to senior staff, leadership, or management.
  • High-level administration support skills.
  • Diary and email management.
  • Preparing replies to correspondence.
  • Scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing documents.
  • Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
