Our reputable private school in South Western Sydney is seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Technology TAS Teacher to inspire and educate students from Year 7 to Year 12.
About the Role As a Food Technology TAS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive Food Technology curriculum, helping students gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge. You will work closely with the TAS faculty to create an engaging and supportive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective teaching programs that align with current educational standards.
  • Ensure lessons demonstrate strong subject knowledge, incorporate current educational research, and utilize well-developed teaching practices.
  • Engage students consistently, fostering a positive and interactive learning environment.
  • Assess student performance through diverse methods, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  • Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Utilize and develop IT skills to enhance learning experiences and streamline classroom management.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to prioritize and maximize student learning.

Essential Qualifications & Attributes

  • Educational Credentials:
    • Current Teaching Qualification in Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) with specialized experience in Food Technology.
    • Current paid Working With Children Check.
