About the role

Mercy Community Aged Care Services are on the search for Enrolled Nurses to join our team in Nudgee. This is a Permanent Part Time role with pay levels to be discussed during the recruitment process. Pay levels range from $33.90 - $35.79 per hour (depending on experience) + superannuation. Options for salary packaging available.

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, this position is responsible for leading the team to provide the highest quality of care to all people by providing opportunity for those receiving care to live as independently as possible. This role is based in our Aged Care Nudgee facility, bedding up to 203 residents and supporting their families. 

This role will include but not limited to - 

• Providing excellent care to the residents, meeting their needs by following care plans, and working alongside a team of carers
• Supervising and administering medication safely & effectively
• Producing accurate case notes, incident reports and other documentation
• Preparing ANACC documentation so that funding is optimised

About you:

• Diploma of Nursing or equivalent with current registration with AHPRA
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts - this includes night shifts
• Knowledge and understanding of risk identification and management
