The opportunity with us

Reporting into the Yard Supervisor, we have 2 x unique opportunities for proactive, engaging forklift operator to assist with the day to day running of the warehouse & yard activities.

This position will include some manual lifting therefore the need to be physically fit is extremely important.

To be successful in this role you must hold a current forklift licence, be engaging, have a great attitude, strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Start times: 6am – 230pm, with regular overtime or 830am – 5pm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating the forklift and carrying out daily checks on forklifts
  • Organising aspects of inwards and outwards goods functions
  • Picking, Packing and despatch of orders
  • Warehouse administrative tasks as required
  • Additional general yard stock transfers & movements
  • Any other yard/warehouse duties as required

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within a warehouse environment
  • A current forklift license with experience – ESSENTIAL
  • The ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Sound computer skills
  • Work autonomously & well within a team
  • High regard for safety
