The Corporate & Commercial Practice
Arnold Bloch Leibler's Commercial and M&A practice has earned its position at the premium end of the legal profession by acting on landmark Australian transactions.

The role
You have an exceptional legal mind, as well as commercial and strategic nous. You want to feel challenged, and to be given opportunities to take on additional responsibility, have autonomy and perform to your own high standard. You are passionate about being a commercial lawyer and relish the opportunity to run matters with client contact, acting directly for the decision makers and enjoy having client contact. You want to feel like you are an important member of, and making a meaningful and valued contribution to, a team that is building something exciting and consistently outperforming its competitors. You are ambitious, enjoy success and are ready to move ahead of the pack.
  
Specifically, you have:

  • between 2-6 years’ post-admission experience in private practice;
  • a strong knowledge of commercial & corporate transactions;
  • the ability to identify key issues in a legal matter;
  • commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with clients;
  • the ability to work independently on a matter (with supervision);
  • superior analytical, research, communication and drafting skills; and
  • the ability to work cohesively in a team environment.

We are open to candidates interested in working in either our Sydney or Melbourne office.
