About the role
Grampians Health Stawell has one operating theatre that is utilised Monday to Friday with no on call requirements. We provide a wide range of surgical services by our visiting surgeons including general, gynaecological, orthopaedic, endoscopy, ENT and ophthalmology. We are supported by a dedicated Education team, Infection Control Manager and Regional Support Networks. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with transport and positioning of patients in theatre
  • Ensure equipment is well maintained and available when required
  • Ensure all OH&S and infection control principles are adhered to
  • Reconcile supply deliveries

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Theatre Technician or willingness to complete training
  • Excellent team work and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow work routines and respond to demands .
  • Demonstrate high level of verbal, written and intrapersonal communication skills
  • Basic Computer skills
