We are continuing to build on our reputation and with this comes winning new projects. Due to these project successes, we require the following experienced underground personnel to join the maintenance team within busy Kalgoorlie workshop.

About the Role

RUC Mining currently have an opportunity for trade qualified Boilermakers to join the busy maintenance team within the Kalgoorlie workshop working a 5/2 Roster or a 9/5 Roster.

Interpret technical shop drawing and specification of the job and able to work autonomously Responsible for bending, cutting, grinding, drilling, machining, etc. Join various metal sections using different welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, Arc welding, brazing, etc. Assemble and weld various steel sections and product assemblies to engineering drawing specifications Use various measuring, locating, and testing tools required for the operation Inspect welds during work in process and at finishing stage. Complete the product with desired finish by using grinding, polishing, filing, buffing, etc. for precision finish.

Tickets and Licences Required:

Relevant trade qualifications Fabrication and welding experience essential Able to perform all welding, gouging, cutting and burning. Ability to work unsupervised Current "C" class Manual driver's license Must have or willing to obtain a Working Safely at Heights Certificate Experience with mobile equipment maintenance Strong safety awareness
