  • About the role

    You will be part of the Wellbeings Therapy and Assessment Services which is a collegial and supportive practice that provides therapy and assessment services to a range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and children.

    You will work within a Multidisciplinary Team to provide therapy and assessment services to a range of clients in line with their area of speciality, utilising sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to inform and deliver high quality client care.

    You will also enjoy supporting practitioners in other program areas of CRCS to ensure the highest quality of service provision across the organisation. 

     Job Description

    Your qualifications, skills and experience will include:

    • Hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Speech and Language Pathology,
    • Current member of Speech Pathology Australia or eligible to be member
    • Current registration with Medicare as an approved provider
    • Demonstrated ability to provide high level speech pathology services to those with complex and/or varied needs
    • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks and duties with a high degree of independence, including caseload management

    CRCS also requires all employees to:

    • Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
    • Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position 
    • Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
