About our role:

We are seeking a experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Nambour manufacturing site apart of our Beverages and Milk division. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance across the site.

  • Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
  • Monitor and contribute to maintenance schedules for equipment, plant and other relevant data to identify faults and act as necessary
  • Performing scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks as per instructions
  • Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems / processes
  • General maintenance within a factory environment, including blow moulding, filling machines, packaging equipment
  • Assisting in the development and training of employees as required
  • Strong focus on safety and safe working methods including JSAs, Risk Assessments, LOTO and permits to work

About you:

  • Experience in turning and fitting, previous exposure to the food industry
  • Proven experience with trouble shooting and root cause analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft suites and SAP
  • Experience in TIG welding is highly desirable
  • You obtain a tertiary qualification, dual trade qualification and/or electrical license is desirable but not essential
