Navarre Minerals are looking to expand their Technical Services team with opportunities for enthusiastic Mining Engineers to join our North Queensland operation.

- Location: Mt Carlton Gold Mine, QLD
About the role
Reporting to the Mine Planning Superintendent as a key member of the team, you will provide technical expertise in planning, mine design activities including drill and blast and development. Key result areas in this role include:
- Developing and maintain mine design plans and production schedules
- Drill and blast designs, schedules and data consolidation and analysis
- Tracking conformance against plans
- Liaise with key stakeholders on short term planning and operational issues
- Continue to develop strong working relationships with our operations team
- Actively participate and support team activities, meetings and initiatives.
What you’ll need
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
- Previous experience in Open Pit production mining methods
- Strong working understanding of safety systems, operations and strategic planning, budgeting and cost control
- A high degree of safety awareness with proven hazard identification and risk assessment skills
- Competent user of Surpac and Deswik
- Excellent planning, time management and influencing skills
