Join AGL Macquarie for the 2025 Mechanical Apprenticeships

Are you a school leaver who wants a career using your hands? Or have you been out in the workforce and tried other roles or industries and it hasn’t felt right? If so, this could be the sign you need to start your new career with AGL as a Mechanical Apprentice.

At AGL Macquarie in the Hunter Valley, we are seeking candidates to join our team as a Mechanical Apprentice. This four-year fixed term apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Trade Qualification in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Completion of Year 10 or equivalent by the end of 2024.

  • Demonstrated interest in your nominated trade.

  • Reliable transport and driver's license (no public transport to AGL Macquarie).
