About the Role

Ensures that the residents are provided with meals at the right time served in accordance with the Anglicare requirements by preparing and serving the meals.

Based in Castle Hill, reporting to the Residential Manager, the Servery Supervisor will ensure that the residents of Warrina Village are provided with quality meals that are served in accordance with Anglicare’s requirements. You will be responsible for ordering, preparing and serving the meals to our valued residents. You will also be responsible for managing the servery team and ensuring that all health and safety requirements are of the highest standards.

This is a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Ensure that all meals are prepared in the right way by adhering to the Anglicare requirements and checking temperature, texture and presentation;

  • Ensure a consistently high standard of food service is provided to our residents;

  • Ensure all servery staff are kept safe in the workplace by ensuring the safety (WHS) health, hygiene and cleanliness standards that are set by Anglicare are maintained.

  • Rostering and arranging training and development, ensuring all servery staff perform at the highest level by actively managing the team of people;

  • Ensuring the kitchen, dining room and storerooms meet all Anglicare and legislative requirements.

Skills, knowledge and experience needed

  • Cert III in Commercial Cookery

  • Experience in a servery/hospitality environment

  • Experience managing / leading staff.

  • A genuine alignment with Anglicare’s Christian values.
