Deloitte is looking for an experienced technology and transformation risk advisory professional who will play a key role in managing and continuing the growth of our portfolio of key South Australian clients, with strong links into our extensive national capabilities. We serve leading public and private sector organisations to help them manage risks and improve business outcomes from their technology capabilities and digital transformation programs.

This exciting role includes scoping and managing projects to diagnose and address client challenges in relation to digital transformation programs, technology governance, IT processes and controls, and cyber security maturity, and to instil confidence in how they are managing risk. In addition, it involves coaching and developing a high-performing and diverse team, building and maintaining client relationships, and continuous improvement of our approaches and methods.

What will your typical day look like?

You will be involved in:

Executing client engagements through structured problem solving, coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders, effective time management, and providing junior staff with the support and guidance needed to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Depending on your particular background / skillset, projects could include activities such as establishing a program management office, designing a fit-for-purpose project governance approach, advising on the maturity of IT capabilities, performing project health checks, designing and implementing tech / cyber risk management and control frameworks, or reviewing the effectiveness of IT and cyber control environments.

Mentoring, coaching, and growing high-performing team members, including supporting junior staff in the early stages of their career.

Scoping new projects in response to client needs, including developing the approach, resource planning, and performing internal quality and risk management checks.

Building and maintaining trusted working relationships with our clients, and across the Deloitte network.

Shaping the development of practice capability, such as industry knowledge or service methods, and our inclusive and supportive culture.

We work in a hybrid environment, encouraging our teams to spend quality face-to-face time with colleagues and our clients, while also welcoming the benefits of flexibility and remote working.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are a well-rounded advisor with some or more of the following:

Knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for relevant capabilities such as program design / delivery / management (as well as relevant frameworks / methods), technology governance, IT risk management, and cyber security controls, gained through an industry, consulting and / or assurance role.

Ability to translate client issues and needs into structured analysis to identify valuable insights.

Passion for coaching team members in an inclusive environment, including performance management and development.

Desire to learn and grow in the role.

Enthusiasm for collaborating – both with clients and internally.

Strong communication skills (both oral and written) including the ability to craft high-impact advisory reports.

Curiosity for how technology and automation can be used to enable more efficient and effective risk management processes and outcomes.

Interest in the latest technology, cyber trends, and how they impact on businesses.

(Desired) Some level of certification to credentialise your hands-on experience, such as PMP, CAPM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, ITIL, TOGAF, and / or Security+.
