Structural Drafter

Position:  Structural Drafter

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum  

Location: Fortitude Valley QLD 4006

Our client is a civil, environmental and structural engineering consultancy committed to providing contemporary design integrated with the built and natural environment. Their expertise is in providing quality work to a growing client base in the following: sustainable land development; building structure; integrated water management; infrastructure master planning and design.

They are currently seeking a full-time Structural Drafter. You will be joining an established team of drafters within a broader structural team of 25. Their drafting team is responsible for interesting, technically challenging drafting for our group of engineers.

Tasks required include:

• Documentation of structural projects to a high standard
• Manage and control documentation delivery
• Meet deadlines and quality requirements
• Liaise with clients and other professionals in delivering designs to satisfy the brief
• Maintain and Develop Revit content
• Conduct on-site inspections as required
• Provide key support to Principal Engineers and Directors
• Be a team player and enjoy working in a small, tight knit team of designers.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field
• Relevant experience in structural engineering design documentation particularly in housing, infrastructure and institutional projects
• At least three (3) years relevant industry experience.
• A good understanding of BIM concepts.
• Strong computer skills in ACAD and Revit
• Twinmotion and Enscape (Animation Software’s) will be highly regarded
• Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop will be highly regarded
• Must possess a current Driver's Licence.
