About the role

We are looking for qualified Electricians to be involved in the construction of projects across rural VIC. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across rural VIC on an 11 on, 3 days off roster – Living Away From Home Allowance Provided

Key Responsibilities include

Construction, Inspection and testing of electrical substations including incorporated equipment either connected to the Electricity Distribution/Transmission Network or intended to be connect to the Electricity Network. Effective operation of plant and equipment associated with the above duties Completing all of the above to correct industry standards with observance to the Safety Act, TransGrid Guidelines, Network Installation Regulations, and OH&S guidelines

About You

Minimum of two years’ experience as an A grade Electrician. Minimum background as an industrial electrician with preferred substation experience. Hold a VIC Electrical Licence, White Card, EWP Ticket & Dogger. First Aid training. Willingness to travel and work away. Strong communication skills across all levels, including with customers. Positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment. A current driver’s licence.
