Put your customer service skills and cocktail-making prowess to good use You'll need a knack for Australian and international wines and the ability to whip up high-volume cocktails and coffee.
You will also:
Assist in managing the outlet and take charge in the Outlet Manager’s absence. Evaluate staff performance and identify training needs. Conduct and document regular training sessions. Monitor product, labour costs, and wastage to help meet budget forecasts. Prepare staff rosters in advance to ensure smooth service and control wage costs. Hold daily briefings to keep the team informed. Manage alarms and security systems, including training supervisors. Handle EFT transactions and cash reconciliation. Process stock requisitions in line with par stock levels. Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and prepare classic cocktails. Supervise outlet operations to maintain consistency and high guest satisfaction. Deliver high-quality service within a small team. Liaise with guests and staff in both slow-paced and fast-paced environments. Promptly and courteously respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints. Ensure maximum guest satisfaction at all times. Perform opening and closing duties as required. Assist with staff training alongside outlet management and the Workplace Trainer.About You
You shine in personal presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. You’re a born leader with a motivating attitude, thrive under pressure, and are reliable and flexible with shifts and rosters.
You will also have:
At least 1 year of experience in a busy bar environment. Skilled in serving beers, wines, and spirits. Proficient in various cocktail methods. Current QLD or National RSA Certificate (Essential). Current driver’s license (Essential). Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Essential). Thorough operational knowledge of a food and beverage retail outlet (Essential). Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, or equivalent (Essential). Supervisory experience in a food and beverage retail outlet (Essential). Proven management skills with team-building and mentoring abilities (Essential).
