About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Radiology Experience (RadEx) Process Specialist to join our National team.
As the RadEx Process Specialist you will be responsible for the discovery and documentation of workflow requirements for Radiologists; with the key objective to deliver on improvements that results in productivity, efficiency or user satisfaction benefits. Using your extensive clinical experience you will also identify and research opportunities for system and workflow improvements.
This role is offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, working Monday to Friday with some on-call and weekends required.
As this position is part of our national team it can be located in Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders including radiologists, clinical staff, and IT teams to gather and understand system requirements.
- Propose improvements to current system processes based on technological innovations, feedback from radiologists, and evolving clinical needs.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to define and implement system configurations and custom features.
- Oversee user account creation, management, and deactivation within the radiologist reporting system; and maintain up-to-date documentation of user roles, permissions, and configurations.
- Work with RadEx team to conduct functional testing to ensure configurations are functioning correctly and support clinical workflows, and that new features and changes meet user requirements and are free of defects.
About You
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with healthcare IT systems in Radiology, and the capability to configure and manage radiologist reporting systems.
You will also have:
- Strong experience in gathering and documenting user requirements and translating them into actionable product features and system configurations
- Strong understanding of radiology workflows and reporting systems in particular RIS, PACS.
- Ability to work as part of a cross functional product team and collaborate with IT teams, Radiologists, RIS Business manager and other clinical staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Previous experience with InteleViewer, InteleConnect, Karisma, Comrad, Clario & Powerscibe is highly desirable
