Join our team as a Bar Attendant at The Star Brisbane.  

The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.


We are now seeking expressions of interest from Bar Attendants , looking to be part of our team. Your passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences coupled with your previous experience as a Bar Attendant, Cocktail server, Mixologist or alike, will see you showcase your passion for the hospitality industry. In this role, you will be required to prepare signature and classic cocktails, smoothly operate the bar and serve food & beverages.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Take orders and prepare drinks accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a high level of beverage product knowledge
  • Maintain the bar's cleanliness and organisation
  • Compliance with RSA standards

What are we looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a bar
  • Maintain a guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is   timely
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Available to work weekends & nights
  • Current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment


About you
Do you thrive in a dynamic, high-energy atmosphere where every drink you create tells a story? You will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced bar environment, showcasing your ability to mix and serve a variety of beverages with precision and efficiency. Previous experience in handling customer requests, ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to engage with customers, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service will be your driver in this role. While prior bartending experience is highly regarded, a solid foundation in a Food & Beverage capacity and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are paramount.

About us
The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.

When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.
