The Role

Pacific Energy is growing rapidly and we are looking for the right person to take our apprentices on the first step in their careers.
 
Responsible for the implementation, management, and the ongoing improvement of the apprenticeship program, the Apprentice Program Lead will set our apprentices up for success. As a coach and mentor, you will act as the main point of contact for apprentices, supervisors, and connectors.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Apprentice Steering Committee to develop, implement, and embed ongoing improvements to our apprentice program
  • Facilitate recruitment by establishing the business needs, collaborating with the recruitment team and assessing candidates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring that apprentices are familiar with the program structure, expectations, and safety protocols.
  • Induct supervisors to their responsibilities and provide coaching and support.
  • Monitor the progress of apprentices, training plans and rotations across the broader business. Maintain records of apprentice details, assessments, and other relevant information and produce accurate reporting as required.
  • Guide, support and mentor apprentices
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies and regulatory agencies to maintain program compliance.
  • Manage and submit apprentice incentives.
  • Facilitate regular communication channels to address concerns, provide updates, and promote a positive learning culture.

 About You:
 
You will be a proven experienced program coordinator, knowledgeable in apprenticeship regulations, standards, and industry practices. Your strong interpersonal skills coupled with learning and development principles will make you a front runner for this role.
