Gatehouse Guard

Location: Altona, VIC 3018
Pay: $30 - $31 PH
Roster: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

About Us:
Our client is a leading vehicle yard company. We are currently seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Casual Gatehouse Guard. This role requires strong attention to customer service, security protocols and organizational accuracy. If you have experience in customer service, security, and passion for cars, with a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the movement of cars within the lot, including those for resell and return to the seller.
• Provide customer support during car collection, ensuring a smooth process.
• Troubleshoot car issues as required.
• Verify that all relevant documents, including zero balance invoices, are complete before releasing cars.
• Check and match barcodes, locations of service books, and other required documentation.
• Assist at place by marking keys, locating them, and ensuring they are correctly placed.
• Providing additional support to the business leaders as required.
• Oversee the entry & exit process of cars from the site, verifying all necessary documents and items, and collecting the vest and barcode.

Requirements:

• Valid Manual Driving License.
• Previous experience in a customer service role (at least 1 year).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and other documents.
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol tests.
