An integral full time opportunity presents within our Forrestdale laser operations cutting team.

Responsibilities:

Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery  Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities. Follow all safety rules and quality standards. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Assemble items as instructed by shift leader or floor supervisor. Prepare product for shipment. Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually, or using hoist.

Skills and attributes:

Experience operating a Fiber Laser Cutting machine Ability to load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of equipment Proven ability to lift raw materials, final products and items packed for shipment, manually or using forklifts Excellent communication and time management skills Must be highly detail oriented Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Reliable and willing to do overtime when required Be physically fit
