Senior Software Quality Engineer (Identity)

The Role

The Senior Software Quality Engineer (identity) works with the team to perform and guide on all types of testing, ensuring that the quality of the solution and resulting test artefacts meet the needs and requirements of our customers. You will be an advocate for testing, automation, and continuous improvement.

You will communicate and collaborate to enhance the existing QA structure and take the lead role within the team to improve test techniques, solve problems, and create effective automation. As Senior Software Quality Engineer (Identity), you have advanced knowledge of software design and can coach other Quality Engineers to uplift the capability of the Chapter and Engineering Practice.

What you'll do

  • Lead and execute testing strategies, process improvements and standards for your deliverables
  • Ensure that the relevant levels and types of testing needed to produce quality software are executed and planned into the delivery lifecycle
  • Design, develop and implement automation frameworks
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and requirements
  • Provide thought leadership in QA practices, and continuously drive improvements in the QA domain
  • Coach junior Test Engineer team members

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Software Test Engineer / Quality Engineer role
  • Demonstrated experience in adopting or implementing test automation frameworks
  • Experience in various programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with Maven / Gradle
  • Previous experience in automated and manual testing of APIs, mobile and web applications
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring junior Test Engineers
  • Experience in all types of testing, (functional, system, integration regression etc)
