  • Job Title: Speech Pathologist - FT/PT/Contractor - Clinic-Based/Community

    Location: Geelong

    Job Type: Contractor - FT/PT Available

    Salary: $82-$100/hr

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our team as a Contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, helping clients achieve their communication and swallowing goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders, including but not limited to: speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, cognitive communication disorders, and dysphagia.
    • Provide evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their communication and swallowing goals.
    • Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
    • Participate in professional development activities and keep up-to-date with current best practices and research in the field of speech pathology.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited university.
    • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
    • Demonstrated experience in providing speech pathology services in a variety of settings.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client appointments.
