About Us
At Good Shepherd Child Care Services Kindergarten, we're committed to excellence in early childhood education and care. Our Springfield Lakes centre provides a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for every child's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop play-based curriculum in line with EYLF and QKLG
- Cultivate inclusive environment for holistic child development
- Support Group Leader in Pre-Kindy room
- Collaborate with Center Manager and team
- Foster relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Conduct observations and assessments to track children's progress and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
- Current Teacher's Registration (Queensland)
- Strong understanding and application of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
Role
- Part-time: 5 days a week, 6 hours a day (with the option for shorter hrs)
- Pre-Kindy room
- Collaborative work environment with an experienced Group Leader and a supportive Centre Manager
