Key competences:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sr. Lotus Notes Administrator
Strong knowledge of Lotus Domino Server and Notes Client
Experience in setting up proactive monitoring & alerting systems
Experience in Notes deployments
Experience in Lotus Notes database design
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Lotus Notes issues
Excellent understanding of Lotus Notes security and access control
Specific activities required:
Support
Support the Lotus Notes development platforms
Remediate any vulnerabilities that are identified depending on the priority of the incident identified
Upgrade
Plan, & upgrade Domino platforms regularly
Monitoring
Ensure proactive monitoring of the health of the platforms and ensure daily reports
Automate monitoring to make it process dependent
Administration tasks
Responsible for the management and administration of app/mail servers
Provide support in the areas of Lotus software products standardization, leveraging of management and security features of new and existing products, and application tuning
Ticket resolution, identify continuous improvements and maintain SLAs
Respond to requests from users and assist in deploying/configuring
Provide resolution of more complex issues escalated from the support helpdesk
Automation of routine tasks and operational processes
Work closely with developers and infrastructure engineers at all stages of application development lifecycle, as well as in accordance with the company's IT development strategy
