• Electrical Fitting, electrical assembly work - switchboards. 6 month contract
• Wiring, various wires, cable harness, terminations. Full time casual role

An Australian company that designs and builds its low-voltage electrical equipment used within Data Centres, Large Commercial Building, and Manufacturing Plants, is looking to appoint an Electrical Fitter. 

Located on the Northern Beaches, the position would suit an electrical, and electronic tradesperson who enjoys assembling and repairing low-voltage electrical products. 
 
Daily Tasks:

• Electrical Fitting for electrical assembly work - large switchboard case and panel metal work. 
• Review electric CAD designs.
• Interpret electrical schematics - to then wire and connect the switchboards.
• Electrical control and power work fitting and building various wires, cables harnesses, and terminations.
• Wiring and fitting of distribution boards, motor control centers, and switchboards).
• Specific bus bar and control wiring on their latest products.

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Thursday 32 hours, 8-hour shifts then time & half for 3 hours then double time. 
• Fridays is 4 hours then time and half for 3 hours then double time.
• Saturday time and half for 3 hours then double time.
• Rates are $30 to $40 per hour NOT CASUAL, Full-time (sick pay, holiday pay full entitlements).
• 6 x 11 to 12 hour days worked = Fitters and Technicans are earning $3000 + per week, $12k per month.
