The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Co-educator for our Early Learning Centre, with the exciting opportunity to join our team in 2025. This part-time role entails working 8am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday. The position is fixed-term, spanning a duration of 12 months, and will be based at our Wheelers Hills Junior Campus.
As a valued member of our team, you will report to the Head of the Early Learning Center and actively collaborate with our teachers and fellow co-educators. Together, you will focus on creating and implementing a child-centric learning program in an environment that promotes students' growth, development, and overall well-being, tailored to their unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and implementation of teaching activities and strategies based on knowledge of student’s physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning
- Actively contribute ideas resulting in implementation of a stimulating educational program for students that reflect current research and best practice models in early childhood
- Support the ELC teacher in all aspects of the management of student behaviour, and organisation of the centre
- Contribute to the developmental records for each individual student, both written and verbal, under the guidance of the teacher
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviour
Role Requirements:
- Diploma of Early Childhood and Care
- Experience with three, four and five year olds is essential
- Current First Aid Certificate Level 2, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Asthma training
- Current Employment Working With Children Check
