The Role

Are you ready to join a dynamic agricultural team and grow your skills? We are seeking dedicated and skilled Orchard Assistants for our almond farm in Darlington Point, NSW. This role offers diverse responsibilities and the chance to contribute to our successful farm operations.

What You'll Do:

This role includes a variety of essential farm tasks:

• Operating machinery and driving mules/ATVs
• Performing irrigation tasks and general farm hand duties
• Checking young trees and conducting weed removal and spraying
• Ensuring branch removal without damaging trees or buds
• Pruning to enhance yield and improve access for light and chemical sprays
• Identifying and controlling pests and diseases

Your Skills & Experience:

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

• Experience in an agricultural environment
• The ability to read and understand farm maps
