Our Operations, Management, and Facilities Services (OMFS) team is at the forefront of delivering critical services to major projects across Australia and internationally. Presently, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Newcastle. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing tactical asset maintenance and management support to clients in various industries, including water and wastewater utilities, built infrastructure, transportation, and public and private works. Your responsibilities will include offering valuable client and business development support for OMFS Asset Management, Operations, and Maintenance service offerings.

Leveraging your extensive experience in asset availability, reliability, and maintainability, you will devise and implement short and long-term maintenance strategies that align with our clients’ CAPEX and OPEX budgets. Your adeptness in identifying and prioritizing O&M business needs will be crucial in recommending necessary changes to optimize processes.

With your strong analytical and organizational skills, you will proficiently identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex O&M data sets. Moreover, your exceptional communication abilities will allow you to develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to our clients, empowering them in their asset maintenance programs.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in asset management and operations, maintenance strategy identification and implementation, maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and write comprehensive client reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Experience in asset availability, reliability and maintainability improvement programs such as Reliability Centered Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis/FMECA etc.;
  • Asset Condition and Criticality Assessment Practices and Processes including asset remaining life calculations and decay forecasts;
  • Operational Readiness Experience and Capability;
  • O&M Training Competency Frameworks and Delivery;
  • Experience with Performance management systems and benchmarking;
  • Experience with Business Improvement Processes and Practices;
  • Understanding and capability in International Infrastructure Management Manual Processes and Practices.
  • Working experience of CMMS/Enterprise Asset Management Systems and Implementation practices;
