About the role

The National Account Manager is a permanent position, based in Melbourne, VIC. Location to be based at our Scoresby or Yarraville office & we will also consider candidates that could perform the role remotely.

Reporting to EGM Customer Solutions, you will be instrumental in fostering and managing relationships with key national accounts as well as with your peers and stakeholders internally. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute robust sales and marketing strategies that align with CSR's overarching objectives. By leveraging your expertise in negotiation, business development, and strategic planning, you will drive revenue growth and ensure sustainable customer relationships.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and implement the OneCSR approach tailored to major national accounts.
  • Lead the growth strategy for each customer, ensuring alignment with CSR's strategic goals.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, including trading terms, SLAs, and pricing.
  • Implement pricing strategies and oversee National Account Rebates to optimize revenue.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new products and systems across National Accounts.
  • Collaborate with Business Units to execute promotional programs and manage customer events.
  • Optimize CSR's retail presence, negotiate retail space, and achieve key performance metrics.
  • Standardize in-store merchandising through effective management of CSR staff and third-party providers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Buyers and Category Managers at target customers.

 What you bring to the role

  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a comparable industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in business development and managing large-scale customer accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in commercial agreements and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on sustainable business growth.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
