About the role

As the Coach Planning Officer, you are an integral part of the Coach Management Team and help to keep services moving.

You’ll use your exceptional planning and scheduling skills to create and apply solutions to minimise disruptions and make sure coach operations meet published timetables.

This role requires capable financial and business skills to:

  • Organise and control road coach substitutions
  • Build templates for planned and unplanned train replacements
  • Order & roster coach services to ensure appropriate, cost-effective coverage
  • Assist with processing invoices, auditing, and reconciling accounts

About you

You're a capable business professional, with a background in planning, scheduling, or high-level, complex administration.

You know how to apply your advanced skills in Excel to process & analyse data and model & plan business operations.

You demonstrate accurate, capable work skills in:

  • Manual data entry
  • Reporting
  • Working within rules and compliance frameworks
  • Adapting to new technology & business systems
