Kitchen Hand - Part Time

Are you a friendly and enthusiastic individual seeking a rewarding career?

Lady Davidson Private Hospital is looking to employ Kitchen Hands to join their busy department on a Part time basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

As a Kitchen Hand  your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving deliveries
  • Assisting the chef with food preparation
  • Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia. We specialise in orthopaedics, cancer/oncology and neuro-spinal rehabilitation, providing both inpatient and day programs.

Selection Criteria: 

  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
  • Highly organised, efficient and effective
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting or hospitality would be an advantage
