How you will make contributions that matter

We have several full-time opportunities available as Production Operators and Cheesemakers at our manufacturing site on King Island, Tasmania. You’ll be supported with hands on experience in the making of Blue, White and Hard artisan cheese making. 

You will work collectively in a team to maintain a high standard of the plant and process operations.

Basic assembly of production equipment Housekeeping and maintaining a clean production environment. Physically fit and able to operate manual equipment in a sometimes hot/humid environment. Contribute to site continuous improvement initiatives. Work to achieve daily production schedules. Promote a safe working environment. Although not essential, previous cheese making, or dairy processing experience will be well regarded.

About you

Previous experience gained in food /dairy production environment. Good literacy and numeracy skills including basic computer skills Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
