THE COMPANY:

Our client, a leading global organization with a commitment to innovation and a focus on leveraging technology to drive efficiency and scalability that positioned them as a game-changer in their industry, is looking for an Enterprise Architect.

THE ROLE:

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing their technology and architectural strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of IT Strategy, you will oversee the design and integration of all technology components, ensuring alignment with business goals, maximizing efficiency, and promoting scalability. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enterprise Architecture:

  • Plan and design solutions considering technical feasibility, security, risk, scalability, and quality.
  • Contribute to current and future enterprise strategy and product roadmaps, including integrations.
  • Work in alignment with the company enterprise architectural principles and design patterns.
  • Provide escalation support for global infrastructure solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and document findings.
  • Maintain an agreed set of enterprise architecture artifacts.
  • Articulate and present effectively to different stakeholder groups.

Information Security:

  • Provide input on security measures and assess technology-related risks.
  • Perform security analyses of software components and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure enterprise architecture supports data privacy and cybersecurity requirements.

Operational Compliance:

  • Ensure enterprise architecture complies with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, ensuring adherence.
  • Identify patterns of non-compliance and take appropriate action.

Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and select technology vendors and solutions aligned with enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure value and compliance.

IT Strategy Development:

  • Support the development and execution of enterprise-wide IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify, analyse, and recommend emerging technologies and trends that enhance the organization's competitive position.
  • Support the development of strategic roadmaps for IT initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance.

Desirable:

• Relevant certifications (TOGAF, CISSP).

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Architecture Modeling Tools

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• TOGAF Certification

• CISSP Certification
