Job Description

Reporting into the Transport Manager, the Driver Offsider assists with the delivery and installation of appliances and furniture at customers’ premises in a timely and professional manner. The Driver Offsider will operate with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team, and align with company values

Position Responsibilities:

• Communicate delivery times with customers and coordinate changes with dispatch/office.
• Inform manager of any job-related issues.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Keep loading area clean and adhere to delivery schedules.
• Load vehicles with correct stock and secure safely.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive impression.
• Maintain personal grooming and vehicle cleanliness.
• Support and adapt to change, suggesting improvements where necessary.
• Be flexible to adjust tasks as needed.
• Follow company policies, including Code of Conduct, delivery/installation, and OHS procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years transport experience
• A great customer focus work ethic, with demonstrated customer experience 
• Strong safety focused including safe manual handling knowledge and experience
• Excellent team player
• Ability to maintain a  professional and calm manner whilst working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Results and target driven with a proactive, can do approach.
• Intermediate level computer/app literacy Experience working with appliances, furniture, or large bulky items preferred but not essential.

Additional Information

• Permanent Full-Time Position. 
• Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm
