TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in the automotive industry to join our team of teachers in the South Region of New South Wales.
The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive Automotive industry experience. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.
The successful applicant will possess:
Qualifications (Certificate III and above) in Light or Heavy or Mobile Plant Vehicle Mechanics meeting the requirements for recognition as a tradesperson. A second qualification in the list below will be beneficial: Automotive Electrical Automotive Air-conditioningPossession of a current Motor Vehicle Tradesperson's certificate issued by Fair Trading NSW in the class of Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle & Auto Electrical only)Five years relevant and current industrial experience after completion of tradesperson's qualifications.Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or TAE40110 with additional upgrade units, or equivalent Scholarship Opportunity
