We’re on the lookout for an Accountant who wants to contribute to the continued success of our brand and customer experience to join our family

About your new career:
As an Accountant, you will be an important member of the Finance team. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Month end process, including journal entries and supporting workpapers.
  • Preparation of month end Financial Reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and variance analysis.
  • Reconciliation of group revenue.
  • Reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Contribute to the annual Budget process.
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statement submissions.
  • Assist with year end audit and tax requirements.
  • Assist with any queries escalated by the accounts payables, receivables, or payroll teams.
  • Participate in the setup of new entities within the group.
  • Ad hoc analysis of various business cases and internal control procedures.
  • Other duties as required by the Financial Controller or Director

  
A little about you:
You’re an Accountant, who enjoys being part of a growing, evolving environment, contributing towards the collective team outcome, yet able to work autonomously to deliver outputs to a high standard.

  • Bachelor of Accounting Degree
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ recent experience as an Accountant or Assistant Accountant
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, whilst managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Office and ERP systems.
