Position Details

About the role: 

Under the direction of the administrator, the Teacher, Educational Careers will coordinate, facilitate, teach, and deliver a comprehensive program to secondary students who are interested in Education. The instructor will also work collaboratively with local districts and community education centers to provide learning experiences for students in the field. The instructor will develop and implement the Educational Careers program.
• Coordinate and supervise all program-related student learning activities.
• Develop and provide high quality instruction in classroom and community settings that helps students develop the skills, knowledge, and work habits required for employment and future learning.
• Develop high quality lessons and activities which provide the basis for rich student learning, using real life experiences, outside experts, and teacher education resources.

About you:

• Five years recent and relevant experience in the Pre-K to 12 education field required.
• A minimum of five years of teaching experience with a Michigan teaching certificate and/or a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Possess or eligible for Career Technical Education endorsement or annual authorization in the Education Career Cluster.
