Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Construction division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

We are currently seeking a Dogger/Rigger with experience working in a construction environment, to join our team in Mount Gambier, SA. The successful candidate will hold a Construction White Card (General Construction Induction Card), and a Dogging and Rigging HRW licence with a minimum of 2 years practical experience. 

It will give you a very strong advantage if you hold a current Slewing Mobile Crane (CO) HRW licence and/or, a Fitter (or similar) trade qualification.

Key responsibilities:

· Selection, inspection, and preparation of appropriate rigging equipment

· Inspection and preparation of loads

· Manoeuvre loads using heavy equipment and manually

· Rigging equipment maintenance

· Interpret plans and set out

· Steel erection

· Small site fabrication tasks

· Crane operation (if appropriately licenced)

· Communicating with the Rigging and Construction team

· Excellent attention to detail, quality and safety

This is a full-time permanent position within our team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
