Due to our continued success and growth, we are currently recruiting an Inventory controller for our Raw Materials – The successful candidate will ensure optimum inventory levels and accurate inventory records to allow all parties to make informed decisions, in addition to providing support to the Raw Materials team.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to delivering results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring stock levels are correct.
- Ensure that production teams are executing the required inventory management processes in a timely manner and assist in investigation of any variances.
- Support of Raw Material inventory management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory discrepancy transactions on SAP with the correct approvals.
- Lead and manage the food safety and quality agenda for Raw Materials
Requirements for the role:
- Superior analytical and numerical skills
- In depth knowledge of the inventory and distribution processes as well as thorough knowledge of effective warehousing
- Sound knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Effective influencer with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to operate forklift
- Knowledge of FMCG / Manufacturing industry desirable
