About the role

As Compliance Ranger you will be part of the Local Laws and Parking team and responsible for the provision of efficient support in relation to community compliance, animal management, licensing, and investigation services.  

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure compliance with legislation through thorough investigations and enforcement
  • Document actions taken and findings during inspections and investigations
  • Issue necessary warnings and penalties for legislative breaches
  • Collaborate to maintain up-to-date procedures, reflecting the latest legal standards and community best practices
  • Conduct initial investigations of animal attacks during after-hours incidents

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current Queensland C class driver’s licence
  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent desirable
  • Ideally, substantial experience in community compliance

This is a permanent full time position, level 3 with a salary between $77,104 to $91,170 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
