Heritage Advisor or Archaeologist Consultant

Full-time role within a leading cultural heritage consultancy, based in Victoria. Suitable for Archaeologists or Heritage Consultants to provide expert project and heritage management advice across sectors

• Requires: Honours Degree in Archaeology or Indigenous Heritage Management and at least 3 years of experience in Indigenous heritage management or archaeology.
• Salary guide: $90,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience + Relocation assistance and sponsorship available for candidates with the required experience.
• Location: Northern Victoria

Your normal day will involve:

• Assisting with the preparation of tenders for projects, tender panels, and contracts.
• Planning, scheduling, resourcing, and executing consulting projects.
• Managing project budgets and invoicing from inception to completion.
• Providing high-level technical archaeological advice and heritage management solutions. Ensuring sound project planning and timely delivery of cultural heritage projects.
• Liaising with government departments, stakeholders, organizations, and industry for optimal project outcomes.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
