Workshop Supervisor Truck Bay Mildura
$5000 Sign on Bonus
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Workshop Supervisor to join our Automotive On-Highway team in the Mildura Workshop.
The successful Supervisor will be looking after our Local and Fleet customers who operate Kenworth, Western Star and International Acco heavy vehicles fitted with our 15 and 9 litre engines, respectively.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for leading and mentoring a team of technicians and apprentices
Consulting with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth process from beginning to end
Ensuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Branch Leadership
Completing required documentation
Being a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic
Experience working on engine products and Heavy On-Highway Vehicles , Kenworth, Western Star
Experience in using electronic troubleshooting systems and following defined OEM procedures
HR (Heavy Rigid License) Truck will be advantageous
Previous or demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring in a workshop environment
Effective communication and organization skills
Organisational skills and be able to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
