Milk Sampling Officers
Across East Gippsland, based in Maffra
Full Time Hours – 3:30am/4am start – 7.6 hour day

We are looking for a Milk Sampling Officer focusing on Livestock and Herd Testing Services. This role is to support local farms with the mission of enhancing herd performance and health.
Key Responsibilities:

• Testing & Sampling: Conduct tests and collect samples from livestock and herds to monitor health and productivity.
• Calf de-horning, freeze branding and related services.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of test results, sample data, and observations.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to farmers, veterinarians, and management.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure testing and sampling equipment is clean, calibrated, and in good working order.
• Compliance: Adhere to all industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols.

Qualifications:

• Licence: Manual Drivers Licence
• Education: High school diploma required; degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in livestock testing or dairy farming is advantageous.
