Bunded Tanks & Fuel Tanker Equipment

TRS Resourcing has several opportunities for Qualified Mechanical Fitters for workshop-based projects in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.

Our client, an industry leader in commercial fuel tank construction (including bunded fuel tanks), tanker trailer and prime mover maintenance, seeks skilled Mechanical Fitters to join their day shift workshop team.

Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Fitter in this role, you will be crucial in servicing, rebuilding, and commissioning Industrial Fuel Pumping equipment and new Tanker Trailers.

Your tasks will include running pneumatic airlines, mounting componentry, and ensuring that all equipment for the fuel tanker fleet adheres to relevant standards and road transport guidelines.

By contributing to the efficient operation and maintenance of the fuel tanker fleet, you will directly impact the success of our client's operations.

Pay and Benefits: $62.50 per hour NT (Normal Time), superannuation, overtime, and a $30 per day travel allowance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in servicing, rebuilding, and commissioning Industrial Fuel Pumps and Tanker Fuel Systems
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and road transport guidelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
